A lovely walk along to St Mary's Lighthouse to view the seal colony. There were about 40 seals mainly young ones resting on the rocks and a few more in the sea to view.
A lovely walk thank you Helen.

12TH FEBRUARY- NORTHUMBERLANDIA. Diane took us on a walk around Northumberlandia. It was a bit chilly and damp but everyone benefitted from the exercise and company. There was a warm welcome from the staff at the onsite cafe who provided us with lovely scones and cakes, all sold in aid of Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

WEDNESDAY 15th JANUARY- such a lovely walk led by Kathleen on a gloriously sunny winter morning. A few people hadn't walked through the pedestrian tunnel and negotiated the lifts with cyclists quite the feat of ingenuity. A really enjoyable experience as was the visit to Jarrow Old Hall and St Peter's monastery. Thank you Kathleen for a most enjoyable walk.

WEDNESDAY 4th DECEMBER. Diane led us on a chilly walk around the Newcastle Civic Centre Gardens and pointed out many features which were not known by some of the group and made an interesting walk around. We then proceeded down to the Cathedral Coffee shop taking in the splendid sights of Newcastle Architecture. Thank You Diane for organising.
WEDNESDAY 13TH NOVEMBER. Last minute change due to unforseen circumstances. Ended up being a lovely walk in glorious sunshine at the coast with a welcome light lunch in Cafe Valerie. Thank you Kathleen for reorganising so quickly.
