WEDNESDAY 9th JULY- SUMMER IN NORTHUMBERLANDIA.
A much warmer walk around the Northumberlandia country park. Blagdon estates have opened up a lovely walk around the park inhabited by Exmoor ponies and many birds and geese. we saw Lapwings, Avocet and many Grey Laged Geese on the dried up ponds that have been created, but depleted by the dry weather this Spring and Summer. A lovely scone at the cafe in the sunshine was really appreciated.
WEDNESDAY 11TH JUNE - WEETSLADE COUNTRY PARK
We couldn't have wished for better weather on this 4 mile walk through Five Mile Park, Weetslade Country Park and Gosforth Park. A good time had by all. Thank you Kathleen

WEDNESDAY 14th MAY - PRESTWICK CARRS

WEDNESDAY 9th APRIL WHITLEY BAY TO ST MARY'S ISLAND.
A lovely walk along to St Mary's Lighthouse to view the seal colony. There were about 40 seals mainly young ones resting on the rocks and a few more in the sea to view.
A lovely walk thank you Helen.
WALK WEDNESDAY 12th MARCH- TOWN MOOR. Following a snowy start and a breezy walk across the Town Moor- at least we had a tail wind- we were glad to get into the Urban Café for a warm up. It was a great walk. K

12TH FEBRUARY- NORTHUMBERLANDIA. Diane took us on a walk around Northumberlandia. It was a bit chilly and damp but everyone benefitted from the exercise and company. There was a warm welcome from the staff at the onsite cafe who provided us with lovely scones and cakes, all sold in aid of Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

WEDNESDAY 15th JANUARY- such a lovely walk led by Kathleen on a gloriously sunny winter morning. A few people hadn't walked through the pedestrian tunnel and negotiated the lifts with cyclists quite the feat of ingenuity. A really enjoyable experience as was the visit to Jarrow Old Hall and St Peter's monastery. Thank you Kathleen for a most enjoyable walk.
