WEDNESDAY 11TH MARCH. An historical tour of North Shields. A lovely walk led by Debbie. We were very lucky with the weather and had a lovely walk through a short history of the Shiels- a rough temporary dwelling used by seafarers along the River- hence the names North and South Shields. Thank you Debbie for a most entertaining morning.
