ABOUT US

North Gosforth Women's Institute (NGWI) is a well established and successful group which was formed in 1979.  We currently have a 90+ strong membership of local women who (usually) meet the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm at St Aidan's Community Centre, Brunton Park, Gosforth.   We are not currently able to accept new members, but if you are interested in joining the WI please contact the Northumberland Federation of Women's Institutes on 0191-217-0808 and you can find out about other WIs in the area.

We are continuing to support the Newcastle Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (NIDAS) through our donations of food (dried and tinned) and toiletries.

At each meeting we have a container available for your spare coins and this year we are are supporting St Oswald's Hospice.  Your donations of spare coins is much appreciated.

We also support the Associated Country Women of the Word (ACWW) through our annual collection of coins for friendship.  You can find out more about this international charity at accw.org.uk

We are members of the Northumberland Federation of WIs and to find out more about the Federation and its news and activities visit northumberlandwi.org.uk
