Sadly we are disbanding the Craft Group. Unfortunately lack of numbers has meant that it is not sustainable (cost of room hire, etc).

To all our book lovers. You might be interested in this new novel by author LK Wilde. The Ladies of Llanfairpwll tells the story of the first UK Women’s Institute, formed in Llanfair PG in 1915. Set against the backdrop of World War I, the novel follows Angharad, a solitary woman living on a remote farm in Anglesey, whose life changes when she’s drawn (reluctantly at first!) into a community of women who dare to imagine something better. It’s a story of friendship, resilience, and the quiet revolution of ordinary women doing extraordinary things.
