FRIDAY 18th JULY- Diane (almost successfully) showed the videos of the wildlife in her garden that was held over from April. The cute hedgehogs were appreciated. Debbie gave us a very puzzling quiz regarding Northumberland Gardens- everyone was quietly engrossed in the task and most people solved the clues. Thank you Debbie. All in all a good afternoon had by all.

FRIDAY JUNE 20th- David gave a fabulous presentation to music featuring the spectacular gardens in Madeira. Some members had already visited the gardens and so it was a lovely reminder for them as well as a new experience for others. Thank You David.

GARDEN GROUP FRIDAY 16th MAY- Ada from the allotment association gave a very interesting talk with regard to planting fruit and vegetables in containers and raised beds. Everyone learnt something and some lucky people left with a fabulous vegetable planter and herbs for their garden and containers.

GARDEN GROUP FRIDAY 25TH APRIL- Diane gave an impromptu talk about the wildlife in her garden. Despite IT difficulties people were interested in the diverse species of wildlife that can be found in a Brunton Park Garden. A follow up presentation including videos will take place later in the year.

FRIDAY MARCH 21ST. GARDENING FOR POLLINATORS. Margaret gave a most interesting presentation regarding planting for different stages of the life cycle of bees. Everyone was engaged in the discussion and learnt a good deal. Thank you Margaret.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 21st. TRANSFORMING A BRUNTON PARK GARDEN 2 - John Warner.

John took us expertly through his experience of transforming the overgrown garden that he inherited when he moved to Brunton Park nearly two years ago. We were all amazed at his hard work and then the fabulous results he obtained through that hard work. Thank you John.

FRIDAY 19th January 2025 - Debbie showed us how to make pine cone bird feeders which everyone enjoyed including the birds in my garden in the past few icy days.
